MTN Asap

About ASAP

There is a high chance you know someone already caught up in the web of substance abuse and struggling to find their way out. To prevent first-time drug use which could lead to addiction among young Nigerians (age 10 – 25), MTN Foundation came up with the ASAP initiative.

Since 2019, the Anti-Substance Abuse Programme has been dedicated to engaging, informing and educating millions of young people on the menace of substance abuse as part of a plan towards creating a drug-free nation.

For the third consecutive year, MTN Foundation has held ASAP in commemoration of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (World Drug Day) on June 26.  Through sensitization, advocacy walks, training and frank conversations the Anti-Substance Abuse Programme is rallying everyone to join the fight against drug abuse.
